On this day 40 years ago, you initiated my most important job description: Mama. (When I was principal at St. John's, I used to tell young mothers that it's the hardest job you'll ever do!)
I remember reading Dr. Dobson's The Strong-Willed Child when you were little, but that strong will has served you well and helped you accomplish so many things! And I learned to pick my battles! For example, when you were in kindergarten, I chose your outfits Monday through Friday, but you could wear anything you wanted on Saturday. That was the day you usually spent with Granny, anyway 🤣.
